Cornerstone is LEEDing the way in green expertise
Indianapolis, September 10, 2011
Cornerstone Flooring is committed to green building practices. Not only do we seek out environmentally-friendly products, we’re also committed to learning.
And we’re always seeking new ways to expand our knowledge and expertise. That’s why we’re especially proud that many of our team members have achieved the LEED® Green Associate credential, awarded to professionals who demonstrate green building expertise in non-technical fields of practice. This means Cornerstone understands green building practices and can help you achieve LEED certification.
Buildings can qualify for four levels of certification based on a points system that takes into account all aspects of a building’s impact on the environment.
We can contribute toward LEED certification for your building in these ways:
- Sustainable Sites
- Water Efficiency
- Energy & Atmosphere
- Materials & Resource
- Indoor Environmental Quality
LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is an internationally recognized green building certification system developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). The LEED professional credentialing program was developed to encourage green building professionals to maintain and advance their knowledge and expertise. Contact a Cornerstone professional today to discuss how this commitment can add up for you.
